Spray painted picture frame collage

I bought these plain wood frames from a yard sale for $1 for a whole box. There was a mix of sizes, but these were the ones I thought worked best for a picture frame collage.

I sanded them down lightly, then did about three coats of Rust-oleum painter’s touch spray paint in key lime gloss.

I hung these frames using the original Monkey Hook that I found at Home Depot. These are excellent! Usually I would use easy anchors and screws to hang things, but these hooks are so small and easy to use, and if I ever want to change it, there will be only a small hole in the wall.

And of course I filled the frames with pictures of our kids. And one picture of myself as a kid, can you guess which one it is?

I made this collage to fit above my painted buffet.
